Password protect IE & Firefox?
Hello everyone,
Hello,
On one of my friend's computer I want to configure IE and Firefox so that they require a password to gain Internet access with the browsers. I realized winguard pro, but the demo version only does Firefox.Noticed some others that lock when the screen saver activates, but it is not about to work. Only two people are access to use the Internet. The others can only use the computer for salon software transactions.
Know of anything I could do or use?

You can curb internet on/off times control sites etc. I have leave access to the internet but its heavily restricted to education and related sites. I then will enable social networking or streaming media sites for an hour or so if his homework is done.I am unaware of a freeware program that will suffice. However, Mozilla Firefox does have extensions that can be added to do different functions.

I do know one software which can satisfy what exactly you need with your computer. The name of the software is something like Windows SteadyState.Which will helps make it simple for you to keep your machine running the way you want them to, no matter who uses them. Windows SteadyState is easier to download, set up, use, and maintain than Shared Computer Toolkit.
