How To Uninstall Google Toolbar
i dont remember installing the google toobar, but whatever happened, when i go to add/remove programs, its there, and it can't be removed. what can i try ?

Well the only thing I know is how 2 remove it from IE, and here's how it goes:
Extras-->(Tab)Internetoptions-->(Tab)Programs-->Manage Add-ons . A new window opens, there u can deactivate the Google Toolbar and see the name of the file. That u can search and either uninstall (if there is an uninstall EXE) or delete.

Simple mate.
there is a google tab on the left corner. just click the arrow and a tab will pop up. click on help. another tab will come. there is an uninstall option there.

pervious reply i was laughing.

why do people make it complicated when there is easy option

Hi All. I Found The Solution To The Removal Of The Google Tabs that appear on your Google homepage after you install Explorer 8. I am running Windows XP. First, Click On View And Uncheck "lock Toolbars."

Go To Tools And Click On Internet Options. On The First Page (the General Page) About 3/4 Of The Way Down, You Will See A Section For Tabs. Open That Up And Click On "disable Tabs." Everything There Will Show Disabled, But Do Not Worry About That. It Only Refers To Google Tabs. On The Same Page, On The Bottom Where It Says "appearance" Click On "fonts" And Set The Size To Make Them Bigger As They Appeared Quite Small With The Tabs To The Left.

You Will Have To Restart Your Machine And Lo And Behold, When I Did, The Tab/s Were Gone. Good Luck. Valcour

here are the steps to uninstall toolbar...To uninstall from the Toolbar
1. Click the down arrow next to the Toolbar's wrench icon.
2. Select Uninstall from the drop-down menu.
3. Click the Uninstall button...Thanks
