How can I allow ActiveX in Internet Explorer
I visited a website yesterday which when opened asked me to allow ActiveX control which the website might need to run properly. I am using Internet Explorer 7. I know this is an issue if you have browser security settings too strict and have disabled ActiveX controls, but this is not the case. I have not disabled the ActiveX controls. I tried to click on the yellow bar that came to allow the ActiveX controls but that didn't done anything. The site is still partially operational, I don't know why this occurred. Can you guide me how to allow ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer 7?

Open Internet Explorer
Select Tools
Select Internet Options. Internet Options window should open up.
Select Security tab.
Select "Custom Level" button. The Security Settings window should open up.
Find the "Download signed ActiveX controls" from the list that appears and select "Prompt" radio button.
Find the "Run ActiveX controls and plugins" in the list and select "Enable" radio button.
Click on OK button twice to save changes
Close Internet Explorer and open it again.

That shouldn't be Internet Explorer 7 problem. May be your antivirus program blocking the site for security reasons. If you trust the site then disable antivirus and firewall and retry everything once again. If it works then, that is certainly antivirus/firewall programs that is blocking from the access. You may even want to disable Windows Firewall (if you have it enable) or set this site as exception to allow the website function as it should.

Go to Internet Explorer settings (Tools - Internet Options). Now under Security tab, set everything to Medium. Now set Cookies settings to Low or Allow all Cookies.

Also add the site to allow in Pop-up blocker settings. Set the Filter level for that site.

This should solve your problem.
