Unable to use powers due to HUD locked up in Mass Effect 3
Hello I have installed the demo game on mine system and I have found the squadmate powers would work most of the time but sometimes it works for me. Last night on playthrough the HUD locked up on me and due to that I am not able to use squadmate powers and not able to Sheppard’s powers as well. So far by playing demo I have faced this issue and all other things are working properly. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

Hello I am happy that you can use some of the power on your game but I am not able to use any powers and mine HUD was locked up too along with this I am not able to look around, couldn't drag power icons. I getting this issue in particular playthrough and all other playthrough are working properly without any issue. I have reinstalled this game 2 to 3 times and I haven’t solved mine issue.

I have tried to rebind the keys for the HUD. Try to rebind the keys for the HUD and then let me know. Along with this resetting the key binds to the defaults setting and this will help you to solve your issue.

Multiplayer demo has lots of bugs compare to the other demo. I even got this issue and I have tried to I change the character on lobby and I have solved mine issue. By changing the character I have solved mine issue and now I am able to use powers without any issue. This occurs numerous times, but never any longer after I happening leaving the lobby to change the character.

Hello thanks for the replies and I have tried to change from soldier to adept but after doing this I have lost almost all the quick slot powers and I am not able to assign any power. So now I just wanted to know how you can play adept if I don’t have any power in quick slot. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

Hello I have got this same issue on multiplayer mode and I was playing as Drill vanguard in game while in the lobby after that I have changed my Human Adept and viola but after that I am able to use only Singularity in quick slot 1 rest of the power are not usable and I am not able to use. I have tried to reset the power lock using Shift button and after that I am able to drag the powers to the quick slots and I am able to use any power which available on the quick slot.

I have changed from Engineer to an Infiltrator but I have got stuck in a game with zero power binds and I am not able to drag-drop abilities or rearrange them in multiplayer. To solve this issue I have just checked SP and I have mine setting not proper and after that mine issue was getting solved.
