Internet gets disconnected when ideal till reboot
Hello friends,

I have a problem here with my machine with my internet connection.

The problem goes like this: Internet gets disconnected when ideal till reboot
I have working internet connection. I am surfing downloading watching videos all is working fine. But if I leave my machine ideal or some time & then I find that I am getting disconnected form the network connection. The cable connection is routed through network hub to my PC. It works fine after a reboot.

I don't understand the cause of this behavior. If someone has any idea please let me know.

Try this,

Go to Control panel - Administrative Tools
Local security policy
Local Policy
Security Options
Microsoft network server: Amount of idle time required before suspending connection.
Set it to a big no.like 999999

Network security: Force logoff when logon hours expire->set it to disabled.

When I had similar problem the internet was messed up. I got Avira to download finally, but when i try to install it, it says something about runtime error. I know it was not a virus or anything like that. Anyways i solved the problem with a reinstall of my OS. XP.
