Internet Explorere Hungapp error
I am using Internet Explorer 7 in my machine running on windows vista. When I closed the application after surfing the net it gave a error message denoting hangapp. And the IE crashes down. I had scanned my system for virus and detected some also. The virus cleaned and then I restarted my system. The Internet Explorer worked properly for sometime and then same thing happened. Is this happening due to virus. What is this hungapp thing. help.

The message is normally comes out when you to try to stop a application by force if not needed. Like you are own a website and you closed it in the middle of loading pages. Second thing it also possible that the virus has affected your browser. Some files can be corrupted which is giving you the error. It is better to reinstall the browser again.

You will need to repair or reinstall your browser back to avoid the error coming again. Whichever is possible for your do that. The error is caused due to damaged files or missing registration information. I listing a solution to repair the IE. Before reinstalling try this. Launch you browser. Go to Tools menu and click on Internet Options. Go in the advance tab and click on reset. In the box click on reset. Restart your system and check out weather if the problem is solved. Other wise reinstall the application.

I think that the virus has affected your windows registry. If possible get an free windows registry fixer from the internet and run it. It is better if you run the antivirus and other tools in safe mode. The simple solution would be reinstalling the browser. Second thing you can try insert your windows installation disk and press windows key + R from the key board. In the box type cmd and give the command sfc /scannow. The utility will scan your system and reset any changes made to your system.
