The problems related to the data not getting downloaded are mostly because of the fluctuation in Internet connection. If the internet connection is not proper then the web pages of the websites will not get loaded properly. Hence check the speed of the internet connection which you are using. If the speed is more and still the images are not getting loaded properly, then contact your service provider and get the link checked. If the link itself is faulty then it will not be able to provide exact bandwidth to the user which will lead to problems similar to yours. Ask the service provider to get the fault rectified if the link is found to be faulty.

All the browser need to be configured according to the user and according to the type of the connection used. If the configuration of the browser does not match the speed of the connection, then the browser will not be able to load the pages of the websites properly. Check the preferences in the Google Chrome and configure the browser according to the connection which you are using. To check and change the preferences of the browser, open Google Chrome and click on the Spanner button. Now select Options and do the settings required according to you. Once all the settings are done, save them and then restart the browser.

The problems which you are facing with the browser can be due to the installed application or add on. Google Chrome install 3rd party applications and add ons on it without asking the user about it. If the application or addon which is being installed is corrupt, then installing such addon or application will corrupt the files of the browser. To be sure if the problem is due to the installed application or addon, disable all the addons and the applications and then try running the browser. If the browser works fine then find and remove the application or the add on which was creating problem.

There is a high possibility that the system which you are using is infected with some virus which is not letting the browser to load the pages correctly. If the virus gets linked to the files which are associated to the browser then certain functions or the features of the browser will not work properly. Hence scan the system with some antivirus and check if there are any infected files. If there are any infected files, repair or quarantine them and then see if the browser works properly or not. If the no of files which are related to the browser, infected are more then you will have to remove the installed browser first and then reinstall it again.

Are there any security software installed on the computer? If yes then it could be the reason behind the problem. Security software's have the tendency to block unknown traffic from the internet but sometimes it also blocks the traffic which is desired by the user. If there are any security software's active then disable them and see if the problem gets solved. Meanwhile do the following settings on the computer and see if the performance improves :-
1.Click on Start Menu
2.Select Control Panel
3. Select Internet Options
4. Go to Advanced tab.
5. Locate the Multimedia section and Check the option which says "Smart image dithering'.
Once done, save and apply the settings and then see if the performance of the browser improves or not.
