How to use CNAME lookup tool
Hi,
I need some information on Cname usage. I does not know to use this. Probably it used to get an IP address of a site. So I have some sites whose IP address is needed to find out. Also is there any other tool also which can help out to find the location of the site. What types of tools are available right now. Thanks in advance.

Use MxToolbox. It is a free to use site which allows you to use the CNAME functionality. The CNAME tools are all online type tools which offers you a box in which you have to type the address of the site. Then click on CNAME lookup and the site converts the domain name to its ip address. It is free to use. The result is displayed as per the priority order. The CNAME functionality is directed done in contrary to the domain's authoritative name server.

You can use Google for this purpose. Google offers a free service to determine the IP address of your site and other relevant information. The Google tool box check out the MX and CNAME record of your site. It shows up MX record like the mailing address and other records. You simply go to the support column of Google and check out your site records.
