How to Block Advertisements in Opera 10
I have used many different browser till now and have just got my hands on Opera 10. This Opera 10 is really an awesome browser but there is this one problem that there is no option to block the ads which come up everytime while browsing. So is there any opinion through which I can disable this.? Can some one please help me out over here.

Yaa even I am facing this same issue. Infact before I was using Opera 9 and in that there was an option through which I was able to block advertisements. But don't know why I am not able to now in Opera 10. I have checked all the settings and each and every possible option to rectify this but didn't get any results. Can some one please find a solution for this.?

Okay now this is a very rare issue. I didn't know Opera 10 had this problem. Are you guys sure there were no other plugin's installed when you downloaded this Opera 10.? I will also check on this issue and will get back as soon as possible.

Yes I am pretty sure I downloaded it from the Opera site itself and then installed it and there was no other plugin installed during the installation or even while downloading the setup. I really find it confusing. As how is it possible, because there were no such problems in Opera 9.

Solution to block ads
Here we are finally with the solution to block the ads which come up on our browser. Yes it is true Opera 10 has changed some settings and you surely can block ads but there is a different way of how you can block it now. And the best part is that you don't need to install any patch or any other software to do it. Just change some settings and that's it. It will work fine then.
So here is how it will work.
Open Opera browser, then click on Tools, Then Advanced and then Blocked Contents. And then you just need to type in the below given links over there.

http://ad.*

And now just click Ok and then close the browser and restart your computer and then its done.
So now any ads from the above mentioned address comes up then it will block it. Almost all the links are covered. If you want to add some more then just start adding more links below everytime on new line.
