Hotmail Error 0x800CCC33
Hi,

I'm trying to set up outlook 2003 so that I can access my hotmail account through outlook. I am getting this error (0x800CCC33), 'Access to the account was denied. Verify that your username and password are correct. The server responded 'Forbidden'. Does anyone get whats going on?

Make sure that you have the correct settings on your account. Check out Windows live support center.

I don't know, something has got changed to prevent such access Hotmail HTML server. The account settings HTML haven't changed, the password and login ID are the same for both and the same as they have always been, the windows registry entry "HTML mail enabled" is set to 1 . So what may be the problem?

You have to download the Outlook Connector. You can enter your Windows Live (Hotmail) and select the account? (Help), just below your name. Search for Outlook and tell Wher to download the patch. Once you download and install Outlook Connector to be displayed in the Outlook toolbar and will have to configure your Hotmail account again. The first time Outlook goes through the sync routine to take long, but do not give up. It worked for me.
