"The good thing about this is that friends will easily be able to jump in or out of four players (online only) co-op moments of fun." I do not think there is split screen co-op, only online multiplayer. But that's just according to this, and do not know whether or not they could add in the future. Or via a patch. Here's hoping! And yes, the robots were horrible in Left 4 Dead, 2 especially.

In any case, co-op (split screen) but probably only two players anyway, whether to include. I cannot wait to get some serious killing zombies in first person with my friends. Can you say, "Epic"?

I wondered the same too, I use to play with my brother, very funny to be honest and we make a good team in RE5 and Left 4 Dead. I was on the island dead page on facebook and somebody posed the query whether it would be split screen co-op. One of the developers said that split screen would not be in the game because you necessitate utilizing your entire screen to see the whole thing that is occurrence. But he did say it would only be system link.

Re: Possible split screen co-op in Dead Island
I can notice the bad things I have ever played Black ops, Left 4 Dead and a few other things in split screen. The necessity of good-looking things, then, is to have a well-size screen to play.
But, I think the core reason is the cruelty of the console makes it to be in two dissimilar places on the island at the similar time. Like zombies, who makes the world of physics and a few other things - counting being able to eat real-time shadows, processed two times as heavy as in the single player game.
I like to play split screen 50-20 fps, though there are some optimizations done in the shadows and particles, and everything else of course. Do not sit at that time. But what about reducing the distance between the players? Like, going half a mile away from the player 1 or something before the screen says to enter a zombie or. Something I do not know! But this was only a suggestion.

I at a standstill think split-screen would be great to have in the game in spite of if couldn't see the whole thing that's going on.

This will mean the difference between a quarterly record and a weak success along the lines of battle or Fallout. Websites such as co-op have shown that the culture of the split screen is a very successful market. For example, Call of Duty has a profit margin due to its huge split-screen capabilities, so is dead, and not to mention Borderlands.
These games are not graphically innovative, but make up for deficiencies by having this functionality. Tough to trust Techland spend years developing a multi-player action RPG and not to slot in the split screen functionality. The reasons not to have it all appeared unimportant. We necessitate sending an email to Techland demanding that incorporate this functionality into its launch.

No and no split screen. The games are going to rattle the processors, it is much less than the magnificent projecting the same images twice to accommodate a second player. For all the reasons for it (and there are many), the main reason for not having it simply is not possible without lowering the standards of the games.

Re: Possible split screen co-op in Dead Island
Everyone keeps talking about how difficult it is to do things twice and have to lower quality. I have played lots of games that were able to do and at a standstill seem startling. It is not even tough to do. Just see Killzone 3, which could definitely be one of the supreme games. Do not drop a hit with split screen or 3D. The developers said it was simple to put in 3D and split screen devoid of losing quality. I do not see how games of this type are capable of doing and has games that are not half as good are not capable of it and always have a charge longer. It's just an excuse not to add it in, because I believe that is important in this game is a purchase not for me.

As for split screen and the stories I do not mind if the other person that does not even makes wisdom at all, I like the alternative to play. Do not damage the story for me. I know what the story is as it should. There are games for lots of there that I acquired one more time if they have split screen, if I'm going to stay a month later and purchase utilized for $ 10. Except something truly good as Gears Uncharted, Infamous, the war that two of them have split screen now.
