How to open hotmail directly in firefox from msn?
Hi people,
I like to use Firefox for browsing instead of internet explorer. But i have one problem with MSN messenger. In the main window of Messenger you can directly access to your hotmail email account. But when i click on it, it will open in internet explorer. How can i open it directly in Firefox? Can anyone help?

Set your default browser as Firefox. Go to firefox and check the tools and make it the default browser then the email will be opened on it.

I think you cannot set your default browser as firefox for hotmail. Because Microsoft is partial to its products. The only thing to do would be to use Trillian as your messenger client. It will use whatever browser you have set up as default.

You need to download stuffplug3 add on. It lets you customize msn messenger or live messenger. When you install it will stop half way through and also download messenger plus 3 add on, just keep going through the process. .When it has finished msn messenger will now have an extra icon at the top(stuff3 a silver circle). Click on it and then go to options or general here you can set it to open mail in your default browser (Firefox).
